The best solution wallet?

After more than two hacker attacks and loss of funds, I came to the decision to take a less popular but compact and really simple wallet from the MEW platform, which is an addition to it, which is Enkrypt. I have been using it for more than two months and I have no problems with its effectiveness either. Do less popular wallets create better security than more popular ones, or is it actually just luck that is the deciding factor in saving your fund?
